We will treat others how we would like to be treated 5. We will do our best at all times 6. We will remember to say please and thank you 7. We will listen to others 8. We will say kind things to others 9. We will be patient with ourselves and others
The feeling rules: Anger is a feeling just like when we feel happy. Everyone gets angry. Maybe you "lose it” or "blow your top." Anger can be a good thing. When were treated unfairly, anger can help us stand up for ourselves. The hard part is learning what to do with these strong feelings. Anger is ok but saying nasty things and hurting ourselves or someone else is not ok Sometimes we feel angry or sad so remember…
Its ok to feel Angry, but..
¨ Don’t hurt others ¨ Don’t hurt yourself ¨ Don’t hurt others peoples things like toys, books, furniture ¨ Don’t hurt your things ¨ DO talk to someone about how you feel
Feeling sad is a feeling just like when we feel happy. Feeling sad sometimes is ok. Sadness makes you feel like crying, and sometimes the tears are hard to stop. Crying often makes you feel better. Sometimes when you’re sad, you just want to be alone for a little while. Or you want someone to comfort you, or keep you company while you’re feeling sad. Talking about what has made you sad usually helps the sad feeling melt away.
Its ok to feel Sad, but..
· Don’t hurt yourself · Don’t hurt others · Don’t hurt others peoples things like toys, books, furniture · Don’t hurt your things, · DO talk to someone about how you feel
